Bio

Josh Rogan has made a career out of Believing.

His philosophy is that chasing the dream is a way of life and “it aint nothing if you don't believe". Materializing the dream includes songwriting, playing guitar, recording, and performing, but believing and connecting life's infinite parts with soul might be his greatest talent. Josh says believing in the path he is on is an art form of its own or maybe his lyrics explain this best: "The world has a song and I want to sing along".

His work has been highlighted with studio recordings in Nashville, TN Charlottesville, VA. Thousand Oaks, Ca. and has released a live album recorded at Millers. Rogan has produced two albums, one EP, and multiple singles. His music has taken him all over the country and straight into people's hearts. It all began organically, Josh was raised in a home with acoustic and electric guitars, the Steinway, oil paints and art books. The Dire Straits and JJ Cale was the soundtrack to his youth along with Stevie Ray Vaughan and Chrissy Hines. Dylan, Neil Young, Van Morrison, Sting and the Gypsy Kings. At the time (In childhood, he would perform his original music in front of friends and family and quickly thereafter it was on to open mic nights in Charlottesville, Aspen, and as far away as Gibraltar. Josh and his guitar have been all over the world and he has been encouraged and invited to play his music all along the way.

He was asked by his teachers to bring his guitar to perform for Ukrainian students while sailing around the world on a tall ship abroad. Josh's first paid gig was a UVa college graduation party while he was still a senior in high school. It all fell into place naturally. People wanted to hear Josh play the Guitar and sing.

After years of performing live, Josh landed his first weekly Friday night gig at Miller's in Charlottesville Va for four consecutive years. Learning to serve up good vibes on a Friday night was as formidable as learning how to play the guitar itself, Josh believes.   Connecting with the audience was a talent that was sharpened during those many Friday nights. Those years also included every gig around from Floydfest to Crozet Music Festival, Motorcycle Rallies and Art openings, weddings to any gig imaginable and of course headlining his home town “Fridays after five” multiple times. It wasn't long before hitting the road out of town was part of his destiny.

During his eight years of touring the country and residence in Colorado Josh would perform everywhere from the festivals of Colorado towns like Carbondale Mountain Fair, Meekerfest, and Aspen Food and Wine for three consecutive years. These years included seven consecutive years in Sturgis, SD for the largest motorcycle rally in the USA including the famous Knuckle Saloon and the Full Throttle Saloon featured on Tru tv. (Josh has played everywhere )With performances ranging from Florida to Oregan, Nebraska to Texas and Louisiana, and everywhere in between, from rodeos and motorcycle rallies to private cocktail parties; gatherings of all kinds have included Josh's original music and vibe-making magic. Josh was featured at the Carbondale,Co Wild West Rodeo. Josh's songs and his acoustic instrumental version of the National Anthem was such a success that he became the only live music performance that the Rodeo would include for four consecutive years.

Josh also landed weekly gigs at the Hotel Jerome (an Auberge resort) in Aspen, CO for 4 consecutive years in their legendary bar “the Living Room”. Additionally Josh played weekly gigs at the Saint Regis Resort in Aspen, CO for four consecutive years both poolside and Apres Ski. He also played weekly gigs at the Viceroy in Snowmass, CO for Apres Ski weekly gigs and Slow Groovin BBQ with performances at corporate events, weddings, the hotel Colorado Christmas tree lighting event and an unforgettable private party in Joshua tree California. Rogan has spread the magic around.
